Happy Mother's Day!!! How special to spend my first official Mother's Day with my Mom. I have a totally different level of respect for my Mom and appreciate everything she's done for us, especially over the past couple of months. My brother's and I are super fortunate to have such a great role model in our lives. Love you Mom!!
After bidding adieu to Greg and April, who are heading back home today, we're on road again...
We made our way to Charlotte today to meet up with Kristen Davis and Kristyn Mills before Joseph drives a Nascar tomorrow at the speedway. Davis is a great friend and former co-worker who's going to school at ECU now. We did the White Lake Tri together last year (one year ago today...happy anniversary!) and I'm so glad she was able to make the trip up from Greenville to meet us and meet Hannah. She's always been really supportive and an inspiration (and she's a giant compared to me).
Now we're checked into our hotel, which is conveniently located very close to shopping mecca Concord Mills, and are looking forward to meeting up with Kristyn. More pics soon of Hannah meeting her honorary Aunt Kristyn! While Hannah's resting, Joseph is fine tuning his cat-like reflexes in preparation for tomorrow afternoon.
