First, we started early, early on Saturday morning in Asheville to run a half marathon and 5K.
My training partner and Grandma cheered us on from the sidewalks. Too sweaty for smooches, I guess.
Hannah (Madeline and Addie the penguin) danced and entertained the crowd while we waited for awards. Which was great, because we had a 4 hour drive to Raleigh ahead of us to visit Greg and April.
Their HOA had a really fun cruise themed end-of-season party and Hannah had a blast dancing. She was totally into the lights and music and Grandma and I had fun watching her. She's a little girl with a big personality!
On Sunday we went to Pullen Park and rode the carousel and trains before we visited the Natural Science Museum. The boys and April went to a Ben Fold Five concert while the girls had a night in with ice cream and a movie. Hannah fell asleep before the ice cream and I fell asleep before the end of the movie, but fun times either way.
Looking forward to seeing more of these guys as they plan their upcoming wedding. Congrats and thanks for a fun weekend!
